If lights stay on in both positions then try pressing up on the clear portion of the lights, they each have an internal switch that will turn them on all the time ...

Once your system got software update, the aftermarket hack got reflash back to OEM setting, and the your auto lock is gone. Because the 2019 did not have auto lock on all crosstrek models, maybe thats the reason you won't find the setting on the head unit! Anyway, my 2019 is Aug build and did not have auto lock. Like.

It was very confusing, to me, that the trunk button on the remote didn't "pop" the trunk (like every car I've owned here, since forever). I'm still not sure why they even bother with that button. It doesn't do anything - you walk up to the car and if you have the fob in your pocket you can open the hatch and lock it when you're done.
