Everything wears over time, you shouldn't expect great lume on an old wristwatch. I don't expect great lume from this old watch. This is the longest I have kept any watch and it is the one I wear when working on vehicles or doing other things to which I would not subject my newer and high end watches.

In about a minute the watch will be as bright as it gets. Here is the lume on a Lum-Tec Combat B18 fully charged. The lume will easily last all night.
