He has a Deep Gnome and Warforged version of the build, but as for picking one, and updating it to U51; I am leaning Gnome Palemaster, due to Greater Color Spray and overall more Int/DC for groups/harder quests.If this is a first life character, consider starting with an 18 dex so you can afford everything at level 1 still. If you don't have enough racial points, just don't put points in the halfling tree at end game. Still put points in up to level 20 for the extra healing then spec out of it or spend less in vistani at 20.

Combine that with great spells like sound burst, as well as awesome healing spells, and you have a match made in heaven. This character doesn't have much AOE DPS, but it makes up for that with very high single target dps. A fun build that will work from level 3-30.

I don't argue how incredible mass frog is for R10 and raids in general, but so far I've been leaning towards the more defense focused build for being able to lead groups with. Strimtom's low defenses (comparatively) is more a factor of his gear, past lives, and setup rather than a factor of being WIS based.

A Favored Soul is a divine spellcaster like the Cleric but there are a few major differences.
