I get off the gas and there's a high pitch decelerating whining sound, kind of like keeping the transmission in 1st gear. Just to clarify the noise is in addition to the 'standard' CVT whine. The CVT works fine otherwise. I expressed my concern several times at the dealer and was assured that it was normal. My mechanic thought first the noise came from the wheel bearings, but ruled that out, after he placed the car up on a rack, and listen for the loudest sound.
