Also on late nights they do not keep enough change to give you change for a $50 bill. I thought this was strange. They probably have change on the weekends because there is a police officer standing guard at the door."
I think Speedway is probably the cheapest gas station in Elmhurst besides that bootleg "Gas Sale" station a few blocks down. Gas Sale sometimes does have lower prices than Speedway but they have higher prices if you were to use credit. At this Speedway, cash or credit is the same price. This station is constantly changing inside. It went from a small crappy mini Mart, to just an open space with vending machines. It appears that they are planning on transforming this shop to be like a traditional speedway station. Also, the prices are always lower than the average surrounding area.
