For me the go-to bans as Mordekaiser are usually either Fiora or Jax. Both are effectively your worst hard counters in the game as far as top laners go. the main build path I did was jak'sho, rylai's, boots, demonic, sunfire, and warmog although I also tried rylai's first for a few matches but the difference doesn't feel that different the healing is very meh even with full tank build which is why I went warmog last but the resistences given is really good.
