I have killed 2 at 14 steps with the Indian Creek .390 in my 301 & Viper 1oz #10s. I tried several chokes. The factory actually was good enough to hunt with this load. Wilson custom loads #10s and Jebs XX FULL hammers at 30 for sure. I’m sure the others do to but when tested most at 40 they all seemed about maxed out.

Yesterday I shot 3 patterns with Federal 12 ga 3" 9's. I used Trulock .640" made for that load, Jebs .660" and Indian Creek .665". All patterns were from a bench at 50 yards. NO significant different. Pellets count ranged from 135- 140 from all 3 chokes.

I also like my sumtoy 562-5 in my 20ga but switched to the i.c because I like the patterns it gives me with tss.
