Stow it, equip it again and it will be in your secondary slot. Then all you have to do is stow a weapon (from a bot or ground loot) and that weapon in your backpack will be the one that didnt make it in.

The past few times I have played DMZ, I have noticed that whenever I try to bring in a custom gun, I will load in without anything. No grenades, no field upgrade, and even keys from my last extract will disappear as well. If I take contraband weapons instead, my loadout will be fine. Has anyone else experienced this bug?
