Most OP setup in the game are sharp infused sellswords with 40 dex and lightning bundles. You should already have everything you need for your pyro build before you have access to lightning bundles, so just use charcoal bundles instead. I beat the game with it on my pyromancer, so it's completely viable. If you don't like it you can always use the longsword, which is extremely overpowered and has low requirements. #2.
