IIRC, Memorizer talked about how countering is so important in Gate 3 Hard, and even missing a counter from a normal pattern on Akkan can be absolutely deadly to the entire party in an instant. Reaper is a counter goddess with a really OP counter after the balance patch back in April/May (can't remember which month).
