Bard wouldn't be a bad choice because you can get lots of cheap DCs in Spellsinger for Illusion spells, but bard doesn't have any useful illusion spells of its own, and the Deep Gnome PK shouldn't work on a charisma caster. I think that the best choice would actually be FvS, with a T5 in Angel.
