i recently reset my browser uninstalled and reinstalled backed up cookie clicker and now everytime i close chrome (the browser i use) cookie clicker resets (i still have the save backed up) i have accepted cookies and nothing else has changed please any assistance would help

For me it didn't load correctly at first. Had some missing assets like all the buildings and the cookie etc. I fixed this by first backing up my save just in case (do it anyway), and then switching from http to https with the little lock in the bottom left, and then back again. Save was there still, but back it up just in case.
