Just keep all the receipts of the parts used for service so if something goes wrong during warranty period, you're covered.

I just switched to a K&N air filter in course of the 24k mikes service on my 2017 R1200GS which also included a valve adjustment. The engine runs much steadier in low rev below 2500 really nice in 1st and 2nd gear in traffic and off-road. It accelerates really smooth - quite a difference. Change that out and problem solved. The brake warning light and speedo failure is due to the controller receiving a signal that it isn't expecting from the ABS ring, when this happens it kills the speedo and lights the brake fail warning lamp to get your attention and demanding action. 2013 R1200GSW. The Adventure or "GSA" has a 7.9 gallon gas tank, crashbars and extra lights. It also has longer shocks and different rake and trail. Perfect if you want to go to Alaska. Factory lowered. I have a 2017 R1200GSA, and I have the factory lowered suspension and love it. I can now sit on the bike and put both feet flat on the ground with my 28" inseam.
