Apr 4, 2018 · Su16 serial number model questions. Hi I just bought an su16 it’s od green and has a full stock. I think I measured the barrel correctly and it’s a little over 16 inches. But I’m unclear exactly where to measure from. Also the only ID numbers I see are in the pic attached. The X stands for KSG (and this will change in the future) The W999 is the serial number. It only uses 4 characters...using the base 34 numbering system W999 equals to number 102,999...which uses the space of 6 characters. Kel Tec switched to this numbering system just for space saving when serializing their weapons.
