Is darkmoon greatsword good.
It’s pretty good with high intelligence, but moonveil and deaths poker and generally better for similar builds. It’s the weapon that enabled me to kill the elden beast. I had a shield + hoarfrost stomp sword for the whole game. Radagon and the beast just seemed impossible. That weapon really helpede.
Whatever one you use just make sure to stack moonvaile and blood hound step on the build so you can be like literally everyone else. They both do a good job. In the end it's preference. Been using it for my swordcerer build and having a lot of fun. It does decent damage and staggers enemies quite often with AoW charged heavy attacks.

Lol. Adula's Moonblade & Darkmoon's ability are NOT the same thing. Their similarities begin and end with "there is a wave.". So you're not choosing one vs the other. "Moonlight Greatsword" is a magic damage buff to the sword and the R2 can be charged which means the skill is affected by a wide variety of other buffs & talismans.
