It's purpose is not to cool the trans fluid, but to warm it up during winter months.The trans fluid doesn't move through any fins in the radiator. If you want to cool your trans fluid, you'll need to use a seperate cooler with some type of fins.

The truck‘s 350 became a swapped in replacement built on a Vortec 880 casting. The originally swapped engine’s LT1, head’s became the now extra set of LT1’s in the shop but with necessary mods to run on a conventional block they got bolted to the 880 block. The cam became an LT4HOT pushing on 1.6 roller rockers.
