FYI I did take my SAT while on my trip. I had to visit LA last summer (I'm from Asia), and I took the august SAT there in California. I didn't do much study before then. As I recall, the last time I took the test before my August one I only scored 1450. But for some reason, after the long break, I improved by 50 points. Let it be. 1st try 1540 is impressive. This will likely differ from what most people will tell you but I say go ahead with a big asterisk. A 1520 won’t get you rejected from anywhere, especially the colleges you listed, so only retake it if you don’t need to study, or barely need to study.
