If u have a 100 series small tire (6" rim 13" tire) with a 212cc left bone stock with a torque converter on it and run a 10/ 50-55 gear ratio, u would get somewhere in the 27-35 mph range. And if hills are what u r wanting to ride and still have a desent top ened then a torque converter is what u want. Modifying and upgrading the Predator 212 is a very easy and rewarding process. One thing to keep in mind is to make sure you know if your 212 is a Hemi or non-Hemi. This is determined by looking at the valve cover. A Hemi is a rough looking square cover, while the non-Hemi is a polish cover that is smaller at the top and larger at the bottom.The Tillotson 212 engine is 7.9 HP, as per Tillotson website with TCT fuel injection carburetor.
