Having said that, I have not much luck on that location after so many load/save after 72 hours to allow respawn at multiple recommend times. But the spot which really helped me find panther is the Lakay near Lagras. The crossroads top of Y in Lakay. To respawn the panther for More skins just sleep 72 hours then go back. The 72 hour wait time and standing on rocks also work for resetting the robbing train glitch, and spawning and killing other predators. I’ve spawned bears and cougars using this method.
