They get a picture of a blue lock that says "Malware and Phishing" and below it: "This site is blocked because it is a known security threat. It blocks adult content by default, I would have to specifically ask it to show adult content. I imagine there's a way to prevent kids enabling 'view adult content' mode but I don't know how to do it. There are DNS servers that you could point your router to that block unsavory sites.
