CZ P10C vs Glock 19 Gen5. The CZ P10C is extremely hard to find, however. During a SWAT pistol course, one of my training partners had CZ P10C and asked me to give it a go. Shot a total of 30 rounds at 25, 15 and 10 yards. The pistol was extremely accurate; I didn't have a G19 on me to compare it to but only my G17Gen5.

As far as recoil, it is a 40 - I can clear the mag in couple of seconds all COM. I dont really feel a big diffrence at the range switching back and forth. The Shield has a longer grip if you use the extended mag (holds 7).

But what has been the general experience with the M&P line which seems to be the only platform that directly compares to the Glock and it's different models . But as mentioned, it depends on one's build. Natively the G19 holds more rounds with OEM mags. The G19, for good or bad weighs 3 ounces more than the G48. In terms of grip some might find the 48 more comfortable than the 19, the 48's shape being more oblong and narrow might fit some hands better than the G19.

The S&W can be purchased with or without a manual safety. The sights on the Shield Plus are steel, the 43X's are plastic. The S&W is shorter/easier to conceal. The 43x is a bit lighter. Both guns have models that are optics ready. I think the S&W is a bit cheaper, and they come with three mags (right now).

I have shot nothing but my Shield Pluses for the past 8 months (I have a Perf Center 4", Performance Center 3", and a regular 3" one with night sights). Whereas, an M&P 9 weighs 21.7 oz without mags, making the Smith & Wesson 9mm compact slightly more massive than the other gun. In figures, a 0.54 weight difference might not be a problem, but that is not always the case with everyone.
I don't see the purpose of the 48. It's the exact same length and size of a 19, just thinner. The 43x makes more sense for aiwb with a shorter slide. 43x uses the same frame, but a 26 length slide. With that said, In winter I carry a 19. All other times I carry a 43x mos with shield arms mags appendix.
