Shave gently- no need to press down hard when shaving 2. It takes a few passes for a clean shave 3. Make sure you do a good job lathering up- good face prep 4.

A wicked edge system is something like $300-1200 dollars and it's bulky. You can get to shaving sharp with 2 stones and some newspaper in under 10 minutes. Also, check out Cliff Stamp's youtube videos. And I mean face shaving, not arm shaving. There's a HUGE difference. You don’t need a cream. That said, a good cream or soap will make your shaves better. Blade changing can be subjective. Some push blades into the 100s of shaves. Some only use 1 blade per shave. I personally tend to change when I feel the blade isn’t cutting as well which works out to 7 - 15 shaves depending on blade. The R41 feels very different from the Rocca. The Rocca is smooth and medium aggressive, the R41 is one of the more aggressive razors out there. They're both wonderful razors, but really not comparable.
