Guy I got it from had it sit for 3 months. It would start but run rough and not idle. Tore carb down, cleaned it, cleaned jets, set floats, new gas. Motor7. I finally got around to re-building the carb. Symptoms before were when cold it would fine except for a high idle. Once warmed up it would stumble when at steady throttle, then regain, stumble, regain, etc. Then it would not idle...stumbles and dies. As long as it's getting fed heavy throttle it runs fine.I have a 2007 Eiger 400 or 500. Not Sure. It will idle with the choke on, but when you hit the throttle it dies. Without the choke on, if I plug the vent line to the carb, the throttle will respond, but not idle. I have cleaned the carb and replaced the spring in the carb, but frustrated with the same result.
