Build 40 was released Oct 2018. Build 41 was released Dec 2021. We are quite a long way away from an update unfortunately. This is a problem with indie games and games that have been in development for 10 years -- I can't imagine how hard it is to work in their code base at this point. In other words, build 42 is not even scheduled for now but I assume they could be collecting ideas for future development. Just note that the current stable build still is 40.It will need a major rewrite to adapt it to b42 crafting. Sadly, you have two choices, and they are mutually exclusive. You can either be on the beta branch, and get the IWBUMS early release goodness, but have mods break when Build 42 releases, or you can be on the stable branch with working mods, and miss out on the good stuff for 2-3 weeks ...
No specific dates have been released yet, but they've only recently fully switched the whole team from working on 41 to 42. Likely months away at least, if I had to guess. Sometime between now and the future. You can just set your game to a specific build so your game doesn't get wrecked.
