Honestly, I was quite please with how manageble the recoil was. But my example may not be the best because mine weighs 31oz vs the other 24-26oz Kimbers.

Unfortunately, it has issues going into full battery as once every other mag or so a round nose dives upward in the chamber causing a failure to feed.
