Both using pump gas. After completing all of the recommended performance mods I added the Mikuni 33 to my 97 DRZ 250. As suggested by Poppy the 33 can be made to fit on the 07, but it takes a bit of fiddling and stuffing to get in place.Lectron carb problems. You can easily hop up a drz with a Lectron carb and other fairly simple mods. The drz is kind of a pig of a starting platform, but it's pretty easy to bolt on stuff, change gearing, and tweak it to perform fairly admirably at whatever you want it to do. Posted October 3, 2017. I recently purchased a new 4T lectron Carb for my spare DRZ400SM. First off it took weeks to get as they were waiting or their new, must have billet throttle tubes. Finally got the carb, looked awesome, install was very easy. It fit better than the OEM carb and we wont even compare fit to an FCR.
