You need to be at least 1,520, or the icon won't show, it will vanish if you adjusted your gear and went below that. Having the exact same issue. Hey, Your character needs to be at the soft cap (1500) for Legend and Master lost sectors to show on the director map. Edit - Also, you need to have cleared the lost sector on standard difficulty at least once with that character. Estimated average drop rates are 25% (Legend) and 33% (Master), BUT that is also an average over a very long run. It could take as few as 1 run or as much as 30 runs for a drop. The draw for Lost Sectors is the targeted drops, but the trade off (to say nightfalls with better drop rates, but no targeting) is that the RNG could be VERY shitty. 2.The location for the daily Legendary Lost Sector in Destiny 2 comes with the daily reset at 5PM UTC.
